Will the coach actually use it?
Head coaches across the country already buy these for themselves. Same product, same format, same depth. Most coaches do not have time to chart every at-bat across an opponent's last fifteen games; this hands them the analysis with the data already cited. Worst case the coach reads it and ignores it; you're out $19 to $49 and you have a refund window.
Will my player know I bought it?
Up to you. We email the PDF to your inbox; nothing on it names you. You can forward silently to the coach, or tell your player, or hand the printed PDF to the coach in person. We have no opinion.
What if the coach already has a scouting routine?
It is a force-multiplier, not a replacement. Coaches with their own routine still get value: the spray charts, SOS splits, and count-state pitching tells are work nobody has time to do by hand during a season.
What does the coach actually do with it?
Wednesday read, Thursday practice plan: pitcher handedness + velo sets BP arms, bunt + run-game flags set defense reps, lineup 1-9 with per-hitter attack plans goes on the bench card Friday. The pitching staff archetype tags and count-state tells are built to be glanceable on a phone in the dugout.
What if you can't cover my team's opponent?
If we cannot produce a quality report against your opponent (insufficient public data, no recent games on file, etc.) we refund in full. Email support@blackbookbaseball.com if you're not sure before buying.
Is this AI-generated?
Yes, in part, and reviewed. Software parses the box scores and charts every pitch; an LLM drafts the patterns and the game plan. A BLACKBOOK scout audits every page before delivery: wrong reads get killed, soft calls sharpened, anything that doesn't trace back to the data gets cut.
Refund window?
48 hours from delivery. Reply to the delivery email for a refund or a re-run on a different opponent.
