Privacy Policy
Effective May 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Blackbook Baseball (Londonberry Solutions LLC d/b/a Blackbook Baseball) collects when you use blackbookbaseball.com or buy a scouting report, how we use that information, and the choices you have. We aim to keep this short and say only what is true.
1. What we collect
Order information
When you check out, our payments processor (Stripe) collects your billing details and your email address. We receive a copy of your email address and the order metadata so we can contact you about your order. We do not see your full card number.
Order details
Before checkout, you fill out an order form telling us which opponent you want scouted (for an Opponent Scout), your own school, and any context you want the scout to prioritize. We use these inputs only to produce and deliver your report.
2. How we use your information
- To deliver the report you ordered.
- To send transactional email (order confirmation, delivery, refund handling).
- To respond to support questions you send us.
- To improve the product (for example, by reviewing which opponents buyers search for).
We do not sell your information.
3. Sub-processors
We rely on the following service providers to operate the Service. Each handles only what it needs to perform its function:
- Stripe: payment processing and receipts.
- Resend: transactional email (order confirmation, delivery).
- Vercel: website hosting and Vercel Analytics (aggregated, cookieless pageview data).
- Upstash: cache for upstream stats lookups.
- PostHog: product analytics (funnel events tied to a hashed visitor id, not your name or email).
- Anthropic: the Claude API, used as a drafting tool inside our scouting pipeline.
4. Cookies and analytics
Vercel Analytics uses no cookies and does not identify individual visitors. PostHog sets a first-party cookie for funnel measurement. You can block these in your browser without affecting the buying flow.
5. Retention
Order records (email, order details, delivery logs) are retained for as long as we keep tax and accounting records. You can ask us to delete the operational copies of your order details at any time after the 48-hour refund window has closed.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise those rights, email support@blackbookbaseball.com.
7. Children
The Service is intended for adult coaches, parents, boosters, and program staff. Although our reports cover high school athletes from public sources, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
8. Changes
Material changes to this Policy will be posted with a new effective date at the top of this page.
